Alison O’Reilly, the founder of RiseUp Recruitment, moved from Dublin to London to kick-start her career. Her biggest challenge – aside from swapping Barry’s for Yorkshire tea – was not finding a job before landing at Heathrow.


After gaining experience in a London-based recruitment agency, she founded RiseUp Recruitment. RiseUp’s focus is to find high-quality UK-based jobs for candidates coming from Ireland.

Why Irish candidates? Beyond Alison’s familiarity with Ireland’s world-class education system, she found that Irish candidates often work well in a diverse working environment due to their strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work hard.
